Also, I was completely unfamiliar with the process called “ADDIE” (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Development). I learned and became comfortable with ADDI as I completed the various components of the project. I learned and applied design principles in the use of graphics, color and proper formatting in the flyer redesign project. How to use hand coding in the development process was learned, along with how to create, edit and embed video into webpages. Universal design principles, copyright, audio and video were all valuable tools learned and applied in the WebQuest project.
This course was especially beneficial as it provided multiple hand-on learning experiences that allowed me to practice and develop the skills learned. I learned so much through the entire course and liked it all, but I especially enjoyed learning Audacity and iMovie. I believe I am prepared to use these tools to enhance student engagement and learning, and believe I am prepared to coach others to do the same. I greatly appreciate the professor's time and efforts, and my fellow classmates for their peer coaching and encouragement!
